Day 21 – The Darkest Day

Day 21 – The Darkest Day

Day · 1 minute

The darkest hour is just before dawn.

In stories, we usually find the lowest point or the ‘all-is-lost’ just before things turn for the better. This is an indication we’ve reached the end of what we call Act 2.

Depending on which model you follow, things are a little more complex than this, but humans seem to like the pattern.

Similarly, even if a training program doesn’t get any harder towards the end, the temptation to bail increases with each day. Only with the end in sight does it become easier for students to find the courage to persist.

But make no mistake: Act Three will still require hard work!

Today you will finish the Yellowstone script, so after the Mastery work tomorrow you can focus on the synopsis and report. On screen, the Yellowstone pilot finale is spectacular. I hope you’ll enjoy the script pages, too.
