You’ll also find a few good examples of description of characters’ looks and gazes. I always say that screen stories are told not just through the characters’ eyes, but by showing those eyes.
You need to write the shots!
Not only does Wait List capture the times; it tells the story rigorously from the perspective of Kate. You may not like her, but her POV is clear and honest.
