During this course, your screenwriting skills will take an epic leap.
You will see proof on the final course day.
First, we’ll need to set a benchmark, by—
- 1. transcribing the opening 90 seconds from Breaking Bad into screenplay format.
- 2. timing exactly how long it takes you to complete this.
Later, we will compare your performance, both in terms of writing standard and speed.
Here’s what you may do to prepare for this exercise:
- Move this page to the left half of your screen (you may maximise the video)
- Click the play button and pause immediately when the image appears.
- Open your preferred screenwriting software on the right
- Start a new document
- Prepare a timer or stopwatch
